Philanthrophy

Established in 2000, The Queen of Hearts Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for the research and early detection of ovarian cancer and in promoting public awareness and education about the signs and symptoms of this disease.

We are committed to making a difference in womens' lives. We want the women diagnosed with ovarian cancer to know there is hope for survival. We remain passionate that early detection, early awareness and intelligent medical attention are the keys to fighting this cancer. We are the only foundation in Southern California specifically dedicated to funding ovarian cancer research projects.

We believe whole-heartedly in our veterans and the work done by the Wounded Warrior Project, and we feel they are a perfect cause to have the community rally around. In 2017, the Orange County Grand Prix and the Newport Beach Tennis Club partnered to host Orange County's premiere memorial weekend tennis tournament benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project.

Operation Gratitude annually sends 200,000+ care packages filled with food, entertainment, hygiene, and handmade items, plus personal letters of appreciation to Veterans, First Responders, New Recruits,  Wounded Heroes, their Care Givers, and to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas and their families waiting at home.

Our mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of the Military and First Responder communities, and provide volunteer opportunities for civilians anywhere in America to express their appreciation to all who serve our nation.

Each package contains donated product valued from $45-100, and costs the organization $15 to assemble and ship.

Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than 1,600,000 care packages.
